Hidden in the dock of Can Barbará, in one of the most authentic and charming corners of Palma, we find “Rosa del Mar”, the Garito Work Group author's Kitchen new restaurant.
The original proposal of the chef Paco Urbano and his team is a tribute to the Mediterranean product with a cosmopolitan wink at what we love, like its "prawn gyozas with garlic" or its version of "Lobster, fried eggs and potatoes" with Mediterranean products, that does not forget the Mallorcan essence of the place nor the Andalusian origins of its creator, proof of it is its inseparable "Salmorejo Marino ", a whole work of art of color, with flavors and textures that surprise and make you fall in love same as with their tasty tiny prawn pancakes.
The grilled meats accompany the low temperature cooked food and a careful selection of rice dishes complete their fascinating gastronomic offer, which together with a sober and warm interior, the work of the unmistakable and great Juan Chito, transport us to a world of unique and unrepeatable sensations.
On a separate note, are the wines of the house, since its wine list collects almost a hundred references, including of course the best wines of the island made with varieties of native grapes, as well as large wineries of the peninsula and other famous corners of the world for its good wine making.
Rosa del Mar is, in short, an essential place for lovers of good food, authentic flavors and happiness without haste.
